In this lab, students are introduced to the history, development, and design features of electric vehicles. Students will learn how to build their own electric vehicle and gain an understanding of this burgeoning technology.

Telva McGruder

Telva leads the next phase of transformation toward an increasingly automated and digital manufacturing approach for body and paint systems at General Motors.

Her team embraces technology focused on predictive analytics to run safely, sustainably, and efficiently while ensuring operational excellence, and launch quality for the global portfolio.

Previously, Telva was Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer where she championed the progress toward a high performing, inclusive culture while shepherding global impact in diversity.

Telva earned BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
