On March 19, Mercedes Formula 1 Aerodynamicist Ola Jegede led a special lab day for Engineering Tomorrow focused on sound and acoustics, where students learned about vibrations, frequency, pitch, and real-world examples of how these affect our ears.
Thousands of students across the country participated live via Zoom to learn about the exciting career fields related to acoustical engineering. Additionally, students brought their learning to life by designing, testing and analyzing their own sound barriers, with all materials shipped to schools free of cost.
