More than 100 Westchester Students to Participate in Engineering Conference at Maria Regina High School in Hartsdale on November 29


The conference will feature interactive demonstrations and presentations by high-level engineering professionals.

(November 27, 2017 – Westchester, NY) – More than 100 high school students from across Westchester Catholic schools will participate in an engineering conference at Maria Regina High School in Hartsdale, on Wednesday, November 29 from 9 am to 2:30 pm. The conference will provide students with exposure to real-world engineering disciplines and the global challenges engineering solutions address. Students will be challenged with problems to solve in group settings and engage in experiments on wind energy and water desalination.

Engineering Tomorrow seeks to expose and attract high school students to the engineering field, with emphasis on females and minorities, by introducing them to real-world engineering projects that illustrate how the math and science they studied is applied.
